Special Workshop Project
This is my Special Project as part of the Reporting & Communications Workshop course in the Holland College Journalism and Communications Program. Year 2, 2023-24.
This project is focused on university and college athletics work between the University of Prince Edward Island and Holland College, combining a workload of weekly written articles, video interviews, promotional content, and talk show episodes to promote and showcase the wondrous world of athletes who play sports and study their passions.
At Holland College, I run a weekly talk show (video series) called "Hurricane Havoc" and write weekend preview and recap articles for all sports. I also broadcast women's hockey.
At UPEI, I work for the men's hockey team, creating promotional content for games, interviewing players through a series called "Inside Panthers Hockey," and writing game preview and recap articles.
