“The pin trading and meeting new people has been a really cool experience. It’s really interesting seeing other people and their thoughts on the games. A lot of people are loving it all even though P.E.I. is a small province.” - Zack O'Meara

Olivia May, with Tourism P.E.I., works at an information table outside the CARI Complex pool entrance.

“There’s been lots of great things that have come about from Canada Games. It’s really nice to see, especially after the pandemic, having everyone come together here on our little island.” - Olivia May

Lucas Hulton, son of Charlottetown Islanders general manager and head coach Jim Hulton, represents the ‘Hockey for Hultzy’ media operation.

“My favourite part about it is seeing all the athletes come together in such a wide range of diversity. Being able to see so many people meet each other from different provinces has been truly special. Seeing the pin trading getting the younger kids to socialize is also super special.” - Lucas Hulton

Annie Audet is a Canada Games athlete playing for the New Brunswick female hockey team.

“The pin trading and meeting new people has been a really cool experience. I think showing up to people from other provinces to ask about trading is cool." - Annie Audet

Jayden Morrison is a Canada Games hockey volunteer and penalty box attendant.
(Reegan MacAulay)
“The connectivity with other people, volunteers, and athletes has been very fun. Personally, for me, when the players are in the penalty boxes, some of them really like to joke around and have a bit of fun for 5-10 minutes. It’s really nice, even though they basically just did something wrong.” - Jayden Morrison
